Conductors and singers are invited to come and join Voces Academy on a weekend exploring music from the Scandinavian choral culture. Discover the wealth of repertoire that exists, be guided by professional singers from Scandinavia in how to pronounce the text and get tips from respected Danish conductor, Peter Hanke, on a leader’s approach to getting the most out of the music.

Scandinavian Repertoire Day
Sat 8th October, 10.30 – 16.30

In this full day workshop, Peter Hanke will lead participants through music from a variety of different countries including Denmark, Sweden, Norway & Iceland.

Masterclass, Scandinavian Repertoire
Sun 9th October, 14.00-17.00

Delve deeper into the music by conducting it.  In this masterclass with Peter Hanke, eight conductors will have the opportunity to explore Scandinavian a cappella choral music from the podium.
